The “transmission, translation, replication” series – in the most literal sense – addresses the notion of “the box” as how we define entities, experience, objects, people. The uniting concept being that traditional definitions often utilize small differences, which could be considered irrelevant in other temporal perspectives. Each iteration in the series takes on a different manner of definition, like the mathematical constant pi and its use in defining our understandings of space despite being impossible for the human mind to every fully grasp given its infinite nature.
